Careers and Work Experience

CEIAG policy

All students will be given a range of support opportunities in order to make appropriate and informed choices about their Post 18 destinations. Tutors are at the heart of the process, as they will lead follow up sessions after keynote presentations from the Sixth Form team as well as external speakers. There are also several trips/visits to relevant University/apprenticeship events and we ask for a financial contribution to cover travel and entry. This is currently £20 for 2018-2019 and is reviewed annually. (This covers all Year 12 CEIAG events – events in Year 13 will incur additional costs). All students will be supported to complete a personal statement, Curriculum Vitae and will be offered mock interviews to prepare them for the real thing, be that at University or in the world of work.
